“First 100 Daze” Protest in St. Louis

Posted on February 6th, 2010 by admin

This morning, a “First 100 Daze” Protest protest was staged by members of The St. Louis Tea Party coalition and other radical right-wingers as a greeting for President Barack Obama when he arrived at Fox High School in Arnold, Mo. Incredibly, Obama supporters were outnumbered at least 10 to 1 by members of the coalition — people who were against big government spending, ever-increasing tax burdens and overall poor stewardship of the nation.

Citizen Groups Derail Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants

Posted on February 6th, 2010 by admin

MSNBC interviews FIRE coalition co-founder Jason Mrochek on the instrumental role citizens grassroots organizations played in derailing legislation in the U.S. Congress to offer amnesty to literally tens of millions of illegal immigrants. Groups such as FIRE Coalition, Grassfire.org, NumbersUSA and FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform), as well as talk radio and bloggers, have provided people with valuable information on the destructive impacts of various amnesty proposals, allowing citizens to see through the dishonest rhetoric from our political leaders (who frequently tout the “benefits” of “comprehensive immigration reform”). Recent proposed amnesty bills have offered amnesty to millions while doing little or nothing to secure our national borders or force employers to comply with existing immigration laws.

Why is Obama getting support from people who supported Bush?

Posted on February 4th, 2010 by admin

Senator Barack Obama is showing surprising strength among portions of the political coalition that returned George W. Bush to the White House four years ago, a cross section of support that, if it continues through Election Day, would exceed that of Bill Clinton in 1992, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News polls.

hes not its all lies

Can’t the moderate elements of the GOP break off from it & form a coalition party with , say, the Green?

Posted on February 4th, 2010 by admin

Libertarian parties. I mean, i know that opposing views are a key & necessary part of a healthy & functioning democracy. But the oppoistion party at this point is all about pointing fingers & nominating morons. A viable alternative is necessary
Maddog:

Palin?
Bush?
McCain?

If you consider them intellectuals you have serious issues.
Mooyang: 1 party rule /=/ Democracy
Stereotype: There are xenophobic elements in both parties. Although they form a fraction of the Domocratic party, they seem to be welcomed, even championed in the GOP

The GOP is irrelevant
