Sept. 1 – FREEHOLD IOWA- Landover Baptist Pastor, Ebeneezer Smith used a blowtorch and a sword Sunday morning to demonstrate that Pokemon games and toys are only sugar-coated instruments of the occult and evil.
Earlier this week at Landover’s Wednesday evening service, children’s pastor Marty Richards told 714 kids ages 2 through 10 that Pokemon is evil and was sent to this planet under direct orders from Satan himself.

To drive home his point, Richards burned Pokemon trading cards and video games with a blowtorch and skewered 14 plastic Pokemon action figures with a 40 inch broad sword. Richards then held the sword with all 14 pierced Pokemon figures over a charcoal grill. Richards’ 5-year-old son tore the limbs and head off a Pokemon doll and spit on the dismembered carcass.

During the demonstration, the children chanted: "Burn it. Burn it,” and "Chop it up. Chop it up.” "Kill them All!"

Manufacturers of the hugely popular Pokemon products, including Nintendo and Hasbro Inc., lied openly about Pokemon’s association with the occult.

The national Christian Coalition told The Press on Friday that it fully agrees with Landover Baptist’s stand against the ungodly toy industry. "Toy manufacturers are being guided by Satan’s minions." One source stated, "Demons are instructing the Nintendo and Hasbro companies on how to corrupt a child’s innocence and create a future army of junior Satanists that will one day rule the world!"

"We agree with Pastor Ebeneezer, and The Landover Baptist Corporation,” said William Barnes, a spokesman for the national Christian Coalition based in Virginia. "It’s a policy issue, a church issue, and a national security issue. We know all about it. We currently fund over 15 campaigns against the Pokemon menace.”

Pokemon, (pronounced POH-kaymahn), is short for pocket demons. The Devil loving phenomenon began in Japan over 20 years ago. A young boy summoned an evil demon to kill his entire family because they wouldn’t buy him a stick of chewing gum at the supermarket. The demon came, and brought with it, other pokemons who jumped into the parents mouths while they were sleeping, and lodged themselves in their tracheas, suffocating an entire family, and setting the boy free to steal their money and buy gum.

"The whole idea behind Pokemon is to show a child that they can become a "powerful evil force, and they don’t have to listen to their parents.” Landover occult expert, Jonathan Edwards said. "Kids look for different Pokemon demons, find them and utilize their specific powers to create chaos in the home. It can be extremely violent, and the liberal media does not want anyone to know how many families have been torn apart since this menace began. The ultimate goal for a child is to collect them, and once they’ve collected all of them, they can have anything they wish for. In most cases, the child wishes for complete control over his entire family. The pokemons approach in the still of night, entering the parents mouths and lodging themselves in their tracheas until they suffocate. They then scurry off quietly and return to their masters bed. When authorities arrive, they are shocked to see no evidence of foul play. They observe only a smiling child, fast asleep, surrounded by stuffed animals and ‘innocent little’ Pokemons."

Deacon Fred, one of 37 co-pastors of the 125,000-member, fundamentalist-baptist church, said that his "antenna went up" over a year ago. While driving with his kids, he heard them in the back seat talking about "Abra” and "Cadabra,” "A chill went down my spine, and a trickle of perspiration dribbled slowly down to the small of my back!" He pulled the car over, took the Pokemon action figures from his children, placed them on the road, got back into the car and backed over them "100 times, until there was nothing left but shards of plastic." The teary eyed children watched from the roadside.

Pastor Deacon Fred said that he doesn’t see why more unsaved folks don’t see the Devil’s hand in this. "Three of the Pokeman characters sprouts horns!" Another concern, he said, is that children exploring a Pokemon Web site can click to other games, including "Magic: the Gathering,” a Satanic game similar to Dungeons and Dragons.

"It’s got fancy sugar coating on it, but, underneath, it’s Hell’s poison,” Pastor Deacon Fred said.

Focus on the Family, the Colorado Springs-based Christian organization whose messages reach as many as 5 million people weekly via radio broadcasts, has researched Pokemon, said David Wright , project coordinator the Youth Culture Department. "What we found, is so horrifying, and so schocking, it would drive an unsaved person to the brink of insanity! Godly Christians are the only ones who can see this Satanic attack, we don’t expect sinners to understand our ongoing battle with principalities that are not of this world. We do however, expect them to take us very seriously, and to submit to our (God’s) authority in destroying these little beasts before they make junior Satanists out of every child on the planet!"
ok i went to that website and t creeped me out..to me it seemed kind of satanic i meaan they had an evil baby and a "make your own bible creature"

You have to be fing kiddie me. These people need to be put on some heavy meds. What can someone say to this kind of bull$hit. You would think good Christians would find something meanful to do like help the sick, feed the hungary, this is why I stay clear of Christians. I may be the evil Pagan but they are the scary ones..

Defend Your Country, have IL State take all your money for Child Support. Is this fair?

Fighting for his country; fighting against Ill.

By Chuck Goudie

(WLS) — It is a story of fractured families, empty bank accounts and missing money.

When the I-Team received an email from Army Sergeant Joshua Hinkle a few weeks ago, it first caught our attention because it was sent from Camp Bucca in Iraq.

The soldier wrote that he was suffering a great injustice: the state of Illinois, he claimed, had cleaned out his entire bank account for child support.

"They went into my bank account and they took it, they took it down to the penny," said Hinkle, who’s with the Illinois National Guard.

The I-Team spoke with Sergeant Hinkle by a webcam link-up, after he had provided bank records and military pay stubs that seemed to back up his serious allegations.

"The state of Illinois child collection support, child collection agency basically stole $4,000 from me without any notification or anything for child support they say I owe and I disagree with," Hinkle said.

As you might imagine, the situation is slightly more complex. Hinkle, of the Quad Cities, has been stationed in Basra province for the past seven months. It is his second Iraq tour. Hinkle was first there as a regular army officer when the war began. He has a son, 10-year-old Cody.

"I had a child very young; we were still in high school. And, uh, once I joined active duty, we set up the child support payment system and we’ve had problems with them ever since," Hinkle said.

And he has a 2-year-old daughter, Scarlett. His children have different mothers.

Hinkle says, and the state agrees, that he kept up with all required child support payments except for a period between assignments in Iraq, when he struggled with employment.

Since being back on the military’s payroll as a reservist, full child support, including installments for the missed payments, have been withdrawn from his Army paychecks until June, when the state put a lien on his bank account and took it all.

"I don’t know how it is legal. Even if I was at home, how is it legal to take 100 percent of my income?" Hinkle said.

It is legal for the state to take whatever money he makes until it’s all paid.

An email sent to Hinkle in Iraq from the Illinois Division of Child Support says, "We show the past due debt to be $15,291.78, which is a total due for two separate child support cases."

Even though what Hinkle owes in back pay qualifies him for the public list of deadbeat dads, his picture isn’t on it. But as the state Web site promises, the child support division will use all available enforcement tools to collect, regardless of whether a person is serving in Iraq.

"In the case of, certainly, this soldier, it sounds like they’re not acting in the best interests of the child by financially trying to destroy one of the parents," said Mark Schario, American Coalition for Fathers and Children.

Child support experts say Hinkle and other GIs stationed overseas have no recourse, nor are they protected by laws intended to make sure soldiers do not lose jobs and other benefits while serving.

"I’ve contacted them on numerous occasions," Hinkle said. "I’ve emailed them. They emailed me once. Every time I call I’m on hold for approximately 20 to 40 minutes and over here, that is a long time because we have to use phone cards."

"That soldier is serving in Iraq and can’t be back here to represent himself that’s not by his choice, he’s serving his country," Schario said.

"It has definitely made life stressful over here," Hinkle said. "I hate checking my bank account. I hate checking my email. We work 12 hours a day, six days a week. And it has, it’s made life really unbearable over here."

The state initially sent a generic statement praising those in the military but noting the importance of paying child support:

"The Department of Healthcare and Family Services has the utmost respect and admiration for those who protect and defend our nation overseas. Illinois state law gives the Department the authority to help parents receive the child support they deserve, and the law provides multiple avenues to help us do that. While we are cognizant of the concerns some may have when forced to pay child support, it is important to remember that the money is going to support their children."

On Wednesday in Iraq, Sergeant Hinkle received an e-mail from the state informing him he now owes more than $18,000 in back payments and that if he disagrees, he should send them evidence from Iraq.

Most puzzling is what happened to all that money the state seized from his account in June. The boy’s mother said she hasn’t seen any of it.

AMERICAN COALITION FOR FATHERS AND CHILDREN

What does him being a solider have to do with anything other than the fact he was out of the country at the time? I support our solders, I have several friends and friend’s husbands who have done numerous tours (one has done 4)…but I am sick of it being used an excuse for special treatment.

There were many things done wrong here…obviously the first being he didn’t pay. But this should have come out of his paycheck like it is when other’s have their wages garnished. His bank account shouldn’t have been touch without his permission. The government also should have notified him prior to garnishing his wages.

But the real thing I find disturbing is that the mother has not seen any of the money. Someone is lying here.

How many people would join a coalition to prevent politicians who vote for the bailout from reelection?

Posted on January 23rd, 2010 by admin

So who is in? How would we go about it? would anyone build a website for it. This will probably mean trading out most everybody. They are in ridiculous support of the bailout despite America’s disapproval.
Wow nice response. Please check out some of my other questions.

I’m planning on voting against any incumbent.
However, the American public are sadly dreaming if they think this financial disaster will somehow blow over without disastrous consequences for all of us.
Layoffs are already beginning because small business’ credit lines have been dropped. The tidal swell is rising and denying its existence is futile.

What are your opinions on the Canadian Coalition?

Posted on January 23rd, 2010 by admin

The Governal General announced today that the government will be suspended for two months… What are your opinions on the coalition between NDP and Liberal? (The Bloc Quebecois are not part of the coalition, they merely support it.)

I’m not entirely happy with the thought of a coalition. Dion says they are very successful, but he is not looking at Canadian history. In Canada, they have only ever lasted a few months. Another reason the coalition probably wouldn’t last is: if the Liberals or NDP even slightly piss off the Bloc, they will lose the Bloc’s support. Er go, Quebec is happy with the coalition not because they could separate, but because they can demand anything from the gov’t and indirectly control Canada. If the coalition were to happen Canada West would most likely separate, not Quebec. However, I do not think the coalition will happen. Too many mistakes have already been made and the majority of the public have voted they trust the Conservatives over the other parties. Plus if Bob Rae takes the lead of the Liberals, they’re done.

Serbia: An uncertain political future

Posted on January 23rd, 2010 by admin

The United States and the European Union have welcomed the result of the Serbian election as an endorsement of the pro-European camp over nationalist rivals. But analysts see no clear resolution of the political split in Serbia. What kind of a coalition will be created as a result of the election? And what will the foreign policy of this new coalition government be? To answer these questions, our guest today is Chairman of the State Duma International Affairs Committee Konstantin Kosachev.

Left condemns Govt.’s move to circulate safeguard draft to IAEA’s Board of Governors
From ANI

New Delhi, July 10: The Left parties, which decided to part ways with the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government over the Indo-US nuclear deal, have criticized the Government’s move of circulating the safeguard draft to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Board of Governors for their approval without proving majority in the parliament.

Addressing a news conference in New Delhi on Thursday Prakash Karat, General Secretary of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) said that they would make it impossible for the government to go ahead with the nuclear deal.

“We are going to fight at every step to stop this deal. That’s not for some maneuvers in the parliament for a vote. We know how to fight against this deal. We have full confidence in the people of this country and we are sure that politically we will make it impossible for the government to go ahead with this deal,” said Karat.
