The Butte Youth Now Coalition won CADCA’s Got Outcomes! Coalition of the Year Award in the “Intermediate Outcomes Category,” which recognizes coalitions that are showing progress toward meeting long-term outcomes. The group implemented a variety of strategies to reduce binge drinking among youth, tobacco and methamphetamine use. While still in the process of implementing their long-range plan, the coalition is on the right path to meeting its goals, helping to pass several environmental strategies to reduce the availability of alcohol and change the community’s lax attitudes toward underage drinking. Among other things, the group implemented the Parents Who Hose Lose the Most campaign and created more learning opportunities for youth to increase their protective factors.

They’re also called folk tales. And many of them were very simple expressions of the authors political beliefs. Kinda like political cartoons. I find "The Gingerbread Man" very appropriate, especially the ending, to describe the globalization coalition that exists between todays liberals and the labor exploitive capitalist.
Can you take a few minutes to read this simple little folk tale and tell me if the Fox represents the humanitarian liberals or the labor exploitive capitalist?
"And after that, the little Gingerbread Boy never said anything more at all."

Yes, it was the only way in feudal or Medieval times to protest without a visit from the headsman. Peasants knew the code of the tales, fortunately for them the Royals never found out.
For all of you who wanted more info, here are the details about the Ezekiel 38 prophecy in the Bible specifically depicting the war of Russia and Iran against Israel.
You can believe it, or you can deny it. Either way, it’s still prophecy. And it still will happen. Were you aware of these specifics? Does this change your skepticism?
The Biblical prophecy says that one day the Gog/Magog will invade God’s people in Israel. "Magog" is a land, and "Gog" is the chief prince (or leader) of that land. Back in Biblical times, they had different names for countries and regions than we do today.
The specific wording in the Bible is: "Gog of the land of Magog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal…"
Over time, the two words have been meshed together in reference to this war. Why? Well, because the Bible states that this leader will gather his nation and other surrounding nations for the invasion. The Magog area refers to the land far north of Israel, which is Russia:
"Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you…" (Ezekiel 38:14-15)
(Look at a map — Moscow is almost due north of Israel.) In this Biblical prophecy of war, Persia (Iran), Turkey and other nations are mentioned to be in alliance with the Magog.
So, this is the bottom line: More than 2500 years ago, a prophet of God named Ezekiel had a vision from The LORD that described a war in the End Times. The premise of this war is easy to understand… the land of Muslim countries, along with Russia, will go to war with Israel. Let me break it down even more for you: In Biblical prophecy, it states that a major war will occur against Israel. Israel’s major enemies in this war will be a coalition of countries in the Magog area along with Iran and Turkey. And the "Gog" — most likely a leader from Russia — will be the visible "chief" of this war.
Let’s look at the verse in its entirety:
The word of the Lord came to me; Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army – your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops – the many nations with you.’ (Ezekiel 38:1-6)
Definitions:
Magog — Russia
Meshech — Moscow
Tubal — Caucasus Iberians, or the tribes of Georgia
Persia — Iran
Cush — Arabian countries of Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, etc.
Put — Lybia
Gomer — Turkey (and possibly Syria)
Beth Togarmah — The area of a region of Muslim peoples in the Caucasus countries and surrounding areas, specifically southern Russia and Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Abkhazia, Chechnya, South Ossetia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
(Do an internet search… you’ll confirm that all of this is true.)
How did I make prophecy fit? How much more clearer does it get? When in our past has Russia teamed up with Iran to attack Israel?
Hang tight… when you see this all come together, you’ll start to wonder. The Bible predicted that Israel would become a nation in one day. And it did — on May 14, 1948.
You’re correct in what you’ve written, although my research leads me to conclude that Togarmah is Turkey. But it all works out one way or the other. The invasion will happen, since God does not go back on His promises. This will be very, very bad for the invading nations, since ALL of the invaders will be destroyed (the KJV contains a translation error when it states that a portion will survive).
J.P.: I respect your right to your opinion, but consider this: even the ancient Jewish sages identified Magog, Meshech, Tubal and Rosh as occupying the region we now call Russia. In fact, I challenge you to find even ONE recognized Jewish opinion, ancient or current, that alleges that Russia isn’t involved. Even Josephus confirms this! I understand you don’t believe as we do, but when this invasion occurs, God plainly states that He will be glorified before the entire world, including the Jews. Perhaps the fulfillment of this prophecy will get your attention?
She may be against Gay Marriage but certainly not against same sex videos! Apparently Miss Prejean made a lovely Sex Tape with Lesbian scenes and all. The speaker for Conservative Values was caught off guard when the tape was revealed by the Miss America Pageant who she was suing. TMZ refused to show it due to the fact it was too racy!
She is heading some Conservative speaking tours so maybe they can explain why they chose Miss Prejean as the face of Conservative values? I’m all ears! How about you folks, can you tell me why she is the face of Conservative Values? Does one have to shoot nude photos and have sex on video to get this position? While we are used to the normal hypocrisy of politicians, isn’t this a bit much?
Question for Conservatives….do you want your daughter to be like Carrie Prejean?
John Ensign, David Vitter and Mark Sanford are all members of the Family Values coalition. Are the standards too low?

Typical hypocrite Con!
As the House of Representatives rushes to pass the version of a healthcare bill passed in December by the Senate, particular emphasis is being paid by Americans to key provisions in the measure. One of the most controversial elements, and one of most importance to many voters, is whether the bill under consideration will permit federal dollars to fund abortions.
Struggling to cobble together a filibuster-proof coalition of supporters, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-N.Y.) went out of his way to assure pro-life senators (and by extension, likeminded constituents) that no government money would be used to pay for abortions, no federally-managed health insurance policy would subsidize abortions, and no healthcare provider that performed abortions would receive federal dollars.
Senator Reid’s assurances may have more purchase with concerned citizens if it wasn’t for the fact that as a candidate, the bill’s biggest backer — President Barack Obama — promised pro-abortion activists that abortion coverage would be “at the heart” of any health care scheme he would propose as President. Judging from the vague language and textual gymnastics still extant in the health care bill, President Obama remains committed to fulfilling that promise and knows that such trickery is necessary to sneak such coverage passed the watchful gaze of wary abortion foes.
One staunch pro-life organization insists, as a matter of fact, that the Senate bill “will allow direct funding of abortion without restriction.” The National Right to Life Committee warns that despite politicians’ pledges to the contrary, there is no unqualified proscription of abortion funding to be found on any of the 2,407-page legislative labyrinth approved by the Senate late last year and now being pushed through the House of Representatives.
Other abortion foes have similarly warned that the mammoth measure is pocked with loopholes through which abortion coverage can pass. James Dobson’s Family Research Council (FRC) makes just such a claim in a press release published on its website in February. The statement quotes current FRC president Tony Perkins as stating that President Obama and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) are deliberately misleading the public about the health care bill’s prohibitions on abortion funding. "The President and Speaker Pelosi should be ashamed of their misleading statements. The legislation that President Obama is pushing provides federal subsidies for health plans that cover abortions, authorizes plans to cover elective abortions, and funds community health care centers to the tune of 11 billion taxpayer dollars without any abortion restrictions,” asserts Perkins in a statement quoted in the press release.
It is in the funding of these health care centers that has drawn the ire of many attentive abortion opponents. According to Section 10503 of H.R. 3590, $7 billion dollars in taxpayer money is appropriated over five years for the maintenance of Community Health Centers (also called Federally Qualified Health Centers, or FQHCs). There are presently over 1,200 such facilities. Because the bill directly apportions this money, these funds will bypass the annual approval process through which appropriations for the Department of Health and Human Services typically must pass. Therefore, these funds would not be covered by the Hyde Amendment. The Hyde Amendment prohibits most federal funding of abortion.
This is more than an innocent oversight attributable to the haste with which the bill was shoved through the Senate. There was time to make explicit proscription on abortion funding in other provisions of the bill. For example, the section of the bill apportioning money to the Indian Health Service contains the following restriction: “Any limitation pursuant to other Federal laws on the use of Federal funds to the Service shall apply with respect to the performance or coverage of abortions.” Other similar qualifications are included in various expenditures authorized in the bill. It would seem then that the lawmakers who crafted this behemoth subscribe to the axiom that the devil is in the details. And the details herein provide a port of entry to a great evil.
The chicanery of congressional abortion proponents has provided other outlets for abortion funding in the text of the health care bill being deliberated. One of the most pernicious portals for the federal funding of abortion is found in Section 1001 of the legislation. This provision, known as the Mikulski Amendment for Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) authorizes government appointed bureaucrats to request funds for payment of “preventative services” as defined by the Department of Health and Human Services. Upon receiving such a request, the Department must pay for such procedures (without copayments) for purchasers of qualified private health care insurance plans.
Finally, the bill funnels billions of dollars into pools of “directly appropriated

It’s not fair that responsible Americans put their money into retirement accounts without considering those who pissed away what they made, if they worked at all.
It’s called ‘Retirement USA Initiative’, liberals want your retirement so they can spend it.
And you thought government health care was bad, it was just a bump a road of many.
