Canadians, what is your opinion on the upcoming possibility of coalition government in Canada?

In your opinion, what are the pros and cons in this issue? What did you learned from the media that comment on it and do you agree with their points?

Although I am not a fan of Stephen Harper (i thnk he’s smarmy)
he did win the last election-although a minority government- and I don’t think that the Liberals, NDP and Bloc Quebecqois would do well together.
I think that its fair that Michelle Jean suspended parliament until Stephen Harper gets to present his financial plan.

I don’t think that suspending the people’s voice in Parliament is a good idea.

Suspending Parliament for over a month during an economic crisis is the worst possible move. Harper is a terrible leader.

By proroguing Parliament Harper has proved he is not only a bully but a crybaby too. If he really cared about Canada and Canadians he would taken his lumps like a man and let the coalition have an opportunity to govern. Instead of facing a confidence motion on the Tories inaction he has the house of commons shut down by the GG and MP’s get a 7 week paid vacation and we average Canadians are left out in the cold figuratively and literally.

Harpers attempt to gain financial control of future elections is what brought this on and even though he backed down it doesn’t mean he won’t try some other sneaky, underhanded move. If a coalition government is the only way to bring this sob down, so be it – but if the Bloc are leading, I’d just as soon let Harper do his damage and move on.
