(Via http://www.mediamatters.org ) On November 11, 2009, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Employers for a Health Economy coalition released a new anti-health care reform ad titled “Skyrocket.” Just like the Chamber’s other recent anti-reform ads, this new ad is in dire need of some factual information.

Wow… shouldn’t …
Wow… shouldn’t there be a law that states “if you create an ad that states a false claim about a bill, you will be fined and your ad will be banned?”
I’ve read Reid’s bill and there is not a word about raising taxes for small businesses. Wouldn’t it be nice if people would just read the bill and make educated arguments for or against it? This ad in paticular is offensive because it talks down to Americans by not stating any shred of evidence.

The Chamber of …
The Chamber of Commerce should change their name to the Chamber of Screw the Working People. They don’t give a rat’s … about working people. They only care about picking a winner, and in this case they have screwed the pooch.
I used to think they were a good org. No more!!!!

BIG money goes into …
BIG money goes into these ads. Where do you suppose that money came from? Yes, boys & girls, from our healthcare providers, insurers and their lawyers… for whom, things are just fine as is.
