Do you agree the Defunct Republican Party is now a weak coalition of rich, ultra religious, and immature young?

Posted on March 25th, 2010 by admin

The rich are out of touch with the suffering of the common man.

The religious are out of touch with reality in general.

The immature young have never faced adversity and are not qualified to have a political opinion.

Hence the Party Formerly Known as Republican has become defunct and lost with Rush Limbaugh and some 14 year old kid as their spokesmen.
Many young people understand the need for a liberal society that takes care of its people.

But there are alot a ranting 14 year olds who have never paid a bill, never been laid off from a job, never had to pay crazy amounts for non existant medical insurance with high co pays, etc.

When those kids grow up, I want to know if they will still be "PFKR". If they are still PFKR, they are idiots probably due to the other two…….rich or religious.
I totally agree the Party Formerly Known as Repubican, the PFKR has become a dangerous fringe group that is an enemy of main stream America.

I would say that is a good description.

I agree that that is what is being presented to us by the leaders and vocal members of the GOP. I think there are MANY moderates and educated people who are wondering what the hell happened to their party.

Why do you think Republicans fought against the stimulus bill? It founded schools, with education a party with such backward beliefs and leadership void is doomed to fail. They need an overhaul if the want to survive. I disagree with your point on the young, must youths are idealistic and very unlikely to support a party that campaigns against idealism.

And republicans have nothing to do with that. Democratic have more money than any and historically it has been proven that states that are democratic are also the highest crime rates and have more poverty than the others.

If you’re right, they’re even more dangerous now than when they were full of Americans you could talk to. Now that they’ve alienated all but the most extreme conservative elements, all that’s left is the religious zealots, old money, uneducated idealists, and soldiers of fortune. That’s a dangerous combination.

yeah, that is almost the truth. of course this is from the party that has to buy the votes of the welfare recipients, illegal aliens, degenerates and drug users by promising them they can do as they please and the responsible people (republicans) will pay for it as they are about the only ones still working.

keep dreaming, and when you wake up, go the mail box, get your welfare check, and then go back into the house I’m paying for so you can spend another wonderful day feeding your kids McDonalds and watching oprah.

If the young are not qualified to have a political opinion, then I suppose all of the young democrats are too immature to be involved in politics either.

And if the rich republicans are out of touch with the suffering of the common man, why is it that republicans give more on average to charitable organizations then democrats? Oh, I forgot, the democrats want the government to take care of all that, so long as they don’t have to fork over the money themselves.

Ha. They are not defunct. They just raped our economy for eight solid years, and they ended it with a house wrecking bang. I don’t think they are defunct. They are off counting the spoils.

not really because if you look at the election map the ones that tend to vote republican are poorer and fyi every major politician is rich its not just the republicans. The religious are just as in touch with reality as anyone they just happen to believe that a supreme deity rules them and remember reality is relative so to the religious your out of touch with reality and Limbaugh isnt the spokesman i am a republican and he does not speak for me i prefer jindal or huckabee and that 14 year old thing is just a intrestest story he does not set policy or hold a senate or house seat and next time please do some background research

Katelyn F. I am not Republican, but those statements you made, were not toward the Republican party as a whole.

So you are to say, everyone that is rich is an asshole & does not face their own issues or help the "common man."

Everyone that is religious is a raving lunatic and doesn’t know how to function in daily life.

And young people have should have no opinion of their own because they are all too stupid to make their own decisions.

I’m sure this is what you meant when you meant this. It makes it much clearer.
I think you are very young yourself. Physical age does not matter, the emotional and mental state of the person however does. But you’re so smart I’m sure you knew that.
Because people chose to be religious does not mean they are "out of touch with reality". Because they do not see eye to eye with you, does not mean that life does not go on.
I agree that some of the rich, which is a minute population, are somewhat arrogant & tend to flaunt their money. Yet, for those that worked their way up to the top I admire them.

Maybe you should rephrase your question, it seems to be attacking Americans in general rather than your hated Republican party.

"Every man, and every body of men on earth, possesses the right of self-government. They receive it with their being from the hand of nature. Individuals exercise it by their single will; collections of men by that of their majority; for the law of the majority is the natural law of every society of men. All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will, to be rightful, must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal laws must protect, and to violate which would be oppression. Let us, then, fellow citizens, unite with one heart and one mind. " – Thomas Jefferson

" The most effectual means of preventing the perversion of power into tyranny are to illuminate, as far as practicable, the minds of the people. It is an insult to our citizens to question whether they are rational beings or not, and blasphemy against religion to suppose it cannot stand the test of truth and reason. Light and liberty go together. I look to the diffusion of light and education as the resource most to be relied on for ameliorating the condition, promoting the virtue, and advancing the happiness of man. Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day. If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be. No nation is permitted to live in ignorance with impunity. " – Thomas Jefferson

Where have you been that you have not seen what Obama has already done to our country?
It was the youth that voted for Obama because he was young and McCain was old so get your facts straight please. Yes we are religious and proud of it so I would appreciate it if you did not mention our God as a negative source. All Republicans are not rich we are just smart enough to know the truth from a lie, that our country was prospering under the Republicans and declining under the Democrats and we know who has done the most spending ever – Obama. I appreciate your sticking up for your party but you are all wrong. Just look around, read what is happening or watch the news then you will contradict your question.
