What is the difference between the National Front and the British National Party?

Posted on March 23rd, 2010 by admin

Don’t say something stupid, such as "there is no difference". There must be, or the two would have formed a coalition, which would make them stronger. I know the National Front was much more popular in the seventies and eighties, and now the British National Party has grown in popularity at the expense of the NF. What happened, and what are the differences?

From what I understand the NF were first and foremost a paramilitary group who aimed to use force to intimidate and expel people they deemed undesirable. As such they could be seen as the Sinn Fein to the IRA. The BNP follow the same attitudes but are more willing to use democratic means to attain power – at least initially.

Once they get a taste of power though, you can bet your arse any reverence for democracy and individual rights would go out the window.

There isn’t much really. They are both racist groups trying to kick out all immigrants in Britain.

National Front are Nazis hiding behind the union jack while the BNP are Fascists hiding behing the union jack.

According to its constitution, the BNP is "committed to stemming and reversing the tide of non-white immigration and to restoring, by legal changes, negotiation and consent the overwhelmingly white makeup of the British population that existed in Britain prior to 1948."

    BNP Political Ideology:
    White nationalism
    British nationalism
    Right-wing populism
    Fascism

    NF Political Ideology:
    White Nationalism
    British Nationalism
    Right-wing populism
    Euroscepticism
    Third Position

You may have noticed there is now no National Front front, it was decimated, due to adverse publicity for all sorts if reasons, wiped out, they had to start all over again under a new name BNP , they couldn’t very well form a coalition could they, we know the names of all fascists from the NF, we also know the names of all BNP fascists, and they are on the way out now.
So you in fact do think there is a difference between the old NF and the BNF? Care to share it with us??

The BNP tries to make itself look more acceptable to the average voter and keeps away from "hostile" electoral language, although their campaign leaflets are hardly "nice" they are the Diet Coke to the BNP’s Full coke of far-right politics.

The NF are involved in some pretty nasty racial attacks and often have "Britain for the whites" and such on their campaign literature, they are openly racist whereas the BNP denies that they are a whites-only party.

Also, the BNP allows non-while members.

But, both of them believe similar things.
