Do not events happening in India indicate that there is something wrong with its political character?

(1) A former Prime Minister breaks his party’s promise – betraying his true mental makeup – to another opportunistic party and an alliance of convenience comes to an end. (2) A foreign entrant dictates the country’s total affairs – foreign and domestic – thanks to India’s traditional sycophants growing in millions. (3) An influential constituent of ruling coalition (a) hurts the religious sentiments of millions of Hindus all over the world (b) insults the Judiciary which is the only hope left for Indians and go scot-free on both counts. (3) A Muslim is said to have been murdered with police assistance for his sin of marrying a rich and influential Hindu girl from an economic dominant family. (4) Police and Politicians decide the destiny of India and Indians, ridiculing its system of democracy. Write your remedies too.

The items enlisted by the inquirer and a host of others, unerringly point out that "many things are WRONG with its political character."
We achieved independence at a very inconvenient time. Then, we rushed up to draft a costitution and became a republic within three years!
Sine then our politicians have been solely concerned with building vote banks(political engineering) rather than ’social engineering’.
The frequent tamasha of General Elections have drawn even communal parties to throw the glove!
To win elections by ‘hook’ or ‘crook’, they all indulge in illegal and immoral acts too.
Once they secure a majority, they form the govt. More often than not misrule and get a boot in the next election!
Now -a-days, the electorate wants to please all and hence the results lead to hung assembly or parliament.
Even that is circumvented by forming immoral coalitions! The honeymoon soon wears off!
Then, all talk about "morailty", which they themselves strangulated.
