As the storm over the cemetery land scandal blew over the top, The Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission is coming under the spotlight yet again. The anti-corruption bodys handling of the cemetery scam and before that, the maize and free education funds scandal is increasingly raising eyebrows with the KACC appearing to play an active role in the coalition political games around corruption. NTVs Joe Ageyo reports.

Their intent to fail o act when Mudavadi blew the wisttle muthaura inored , it is now obvious that some body is using kacc for some political gains, others dont want to work with others like Mudavadi puts it, i also believe it would be better if people go for fresh elections after we get anew constitution, this is the worst parliament i can ever think of

@wawaithira I have no problem with any guilty person being made responsible for his actions, even if it is Mudavadi, Raila or Moi. What is strange here is that Mudavadi always tried to fight this scandal and he was blocked, now is he being blamed for being in a scandal he was fighting. Kimunya, on the other hand was trying to support the disposal of Grand Regency, against all logic, and there was plenty of documentary and circumstantial evidence that he was hiding something.

So had Prof Karega Mutahi and Ongeri raised the issues but being political guys you people pushed the envelope, now ODM gets a taste of its own medicine it gave to PNU during Kimunya, Ringera. @wawaithira Actually I remember that Mudavadi was the first to blow the whistle and question the exorbitant cost of purchase of this land, but he was opposed at every turn. Now he is being blamed for being in a scandal he was fighting, which is not logical.
All the same, if the monies paid from City Council went through the banking system, it is possible to track down the broad paths that the funds took through the banks, and know who was involved.

Is it not suspicious that is Joe Ageyo who is reporting on the matter? This is highly questionable that NTV makes such a report yet they never questioned the investigations during the FPE Saga. If Mudavadi received the money then he should own up.
