2006 National Winner of The Shortie Awards: Student Film and News Festival. Live Action Category, Ages 15-18. Youth Sounds Factory (now Bay Area Video Coalition), Oakland, CA. A young man at a bus stop gets schooled by a stranger on a cultural misconceptions of beauty. The film slip of the tongue was adopted from a spoken word poem by Adriel Luis.
